The Vision 2020 document of the Planning Commission projects a five-fold growth to the volume of India’s road traffic by year 2020. This will be enabled by over 70,000-km of national highways and 5,000-10,000-kms of four-laned (or more) expressways networking the Metros. State highways and rural roads are also set to see significant improvement. The National Highways Authority of India (NHAI) is engaged in the largest highway project ever undertaken in the history of the country. The Phase I and II of the NHDP will see four-six laning of about 14,279 km of national highways. Having worked on over 20 highway projects in the last 12 years, it is a natural evolution for SOMA to take on projects on a Build, Operate and Transfer (BOT) basis in a Public Private Partnership (PPP) model.
The National Highway (NH-1) project in Panipat - Jalandhar Section on DBFO Pattern (BOT) under NHDP Phase-V comprises of construction of 6 laning of 291.10 Kms including 10 Major Bridges, 72 flyovers, 5 Viaducts and CD Works.
The NH-5 project comprises of construction of 4 lane National Highway of length 17.166 Kms that includes construction of two major 3 lane Bridge across river Pennar each 846 M long, having length of each span as 42.3 M.
The National Highway (NH-6) project in Surat - Hazira Port section on DBFO Pattern (BOT) under NHDP Phase-III comprises of construction of 4 lane of length 75.93 Kms including 2 Major bridges, 5 Flyovers, 18 VUPs and 3 ROBs
The National Highway project (NH-76/NH-3) comprises of construction of 24 Km new 4 lane highway & rehabilitation and upgrading of 30 Km existing Highway including 580 M bridge, flyovers, 21 minor Bridges.
The National Highway (NH-8) project in Kishangarh-Ajmer-Beawar Section on DBFO Pattern (BOT) under NHDP Phase-III comprises of construction of 6 laning of length 48.14 Km, 15 minor bridges, 2 flyovers, 7 VUPs and 1 ROB.
The State Highway (SH-17) project is construction of 4 Laning from Maddur to Mysore including construction of 4 Major Bridges, 23 Minor Bridges and 116 CD works.
The National highway (NH-8B) project comprises of construction of about 19 Km long 4 lane Road by widening of existing 2 lane highway to 4 lane including construction of 2 Major bridges, 20 Minor Bridges, 1 ROB and 37 CD works.
The National Highway (NH-8B) project comprises of construction of about 50 Km long 4 lane Road from Porbandar to Bhiladiby widening of existing 2 lane highway to 4 lane including construction of 2 Major Bridges, 42 Minor Bridges & 53 Culverts.
The National Highway (NH5) project comprises of Widening of 84.5 Km long 2 lane highway to 4 lane that includes construction of 27 Bridges and 11 underpasses.
The National Highway (NH-7) project under North-South Corridor comprises of construction 4 laning of 40.350 Kms in Hyderabad-Bangalore Section.
The National Highway (NH-7) project under North-South Corridor comprises of construction 4 laning of 41.350 Kms in Hyderabad-Bangalore Section
The National Highway (NH-7) project under North-South Corridor comprises of construction 4 laning of 42 Kms in Hyderabad-Bangalore Section
The National Highway (NH-7) project under North-South Corridor comprises of construction 4 laning of 45.05 Kms in Hyderabad-Bangalore Section.
The National Highway (NH-76) project under East West Corridor comprises of 4 laning of 44 Kms in Bekaria-Gogunda section including 2 major Bridges & 1.163 Kms of 2 twin tunnels of D-shape with 11.33 M excavated diameter.
The National Highway (NH-76) project under East West Corridor comprises of construction of 40 Km Long 4 Lane, New Rigid Pavement Highway.
The National Highway (NH-2)project in Varanasi-Aurangabad Section on DBFO Pattern (BOT) under NHDP Phase-V comprises of construction of 6 laning of length 192.40 Kms including 7 Flyovers, 12 major Bridges, 119 underpasses, 3 ROBs and CD works.
The National Highway (NH-47) project comprises of construction of 4 lane Road of length 19 Kms including 2 under bridges, 5 underpasses, 1 road under bridge and 41 CD Works.
The National Highway (NH-9) project in Vijayawada city on EPC basis comprises of 4 lane road of length of 5.122 Kms including 6 lane elevated flyover of length 2.550 M, 3 VUPs, 1 PUP.
The National Highway (NH-7) Project under North-South Corridor (NHDP-Phase-II) comprises of construction of New 4 lane Byepass of length 55 Kms including 3 Major Bridges, 9 Minor Bridges, 2 ROBs and 96 CD works.
This 4 lane Elevated Highway Project on Bangalore-Hosur Section of NH-7 was constructed from Silk Board Junction to Electronic City Junction in Bangalore city on BOT Basis.
